Pascoe Vale

In the City of Moreland, around 10kms from the city, is the suburb of Pascoe Vale. Known for its many parks and reserves, Pascoe Vale is a great family suburb that is connected to the city by the Craigieburn railway line.

The suburb has some celebrity ties, with the Pascoe Vale Veterinary Clinic on the corner of Kent Road and Derby Street owned by Australian celebrity vet, Dr Harry Cooper. Dr Cooper’s television series ‘Harry’s Practice’ was filmed at the clinic.

There’s a raft of local cafes and restaurants to choose from in Pascoe Vale, with delicious Japanese at Atami, old faithful pub choices at the Pascoe Vale RSL and Pascoe Vale Hotel, and great weekend breakfasts at Jack and Daisy’s. Ferrovia Deli and Fine Foods is a local hot spot for good coffee, a great selection of bread and fresh deli items.

Pascoe Vale has several primary schools including Pascoe Vale Primary School, Pascoe Vale North Primary School, St. Oliver Plunkett Primary School, Westbreen Primary School and Pascoe Vale South Primary School. It is also home to Pascoe Vale Girls’ College.
